Put the fun back in being blonde. Tone up, hydrate and hold off on irritation. We're not one to comment if blondes have more fun, but we do know they require a lot from their haircare. The blonde babes at the A bit Hippy HQ were sick of being forced to choose between their bright, blonde and perfectly toned colour or dry hair and an itchy, irritated scalp. You shouldn't have to choose, which is why we got to work and made our own.

This Hydrating Blonde Shampoo is built using our OG Shampoo base made with a combination of natural and gentle cleansers that won't irritate sensitive scalps. Then we got creative to select only the best ingredients to tone your hair just the way you like it, every time you wash. We added a fresh blend of Grapefruit, Orange and Lemon to make hair wash day a sensory experience you love so much, you'll be counting down until it's time to reach for me again!

Around once a week, massage two to three pumps of shampoo into your scalp and down to the ends of your hair. Don't forget to rinse thoroughly!

Aqua (Water), Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Decyl Glucoside, Lauryl Glucoside, Sodium Cocoyl Sarcosinate, Glycerin, Cellulose, Cellulose GumGuar, Glycol Distearate, Laureth-4, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Piroctone Olamine, Limonene, Lavandula Oil Extract, Citrus Limon Peel Oil, Linalool, Linalyl Acetate, Vanillin, Pinene, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Acid Violet 43 (CI 60730), FD & C Blue No.1 (CI 42090), Citric Acid (To Balance pH).

How long should the Hydrating Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner be left in before rinsing? <br>For best results, leave the Hydrating Blonde Shampoo in for 2-5 minutes to allow the pigments to neutralise brassiness. Leave the Conditioner in for around 2-3 minutes to hydrate and nourish your hair. <br><br>Should I use the Hydrating Blonde every hair wash day? <br>This depends on several factors. How bright do you like your blonde to be? How porous is your hair? We'll leave the answer up to you, as it will depend on personal preference. We recommend using the duo during every second wash, then increasing or decreasing usage depending on results. <br><br>Are the toning ingredients used in the Hydrating Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner natural? <br>No, we use synthetic colourants. Why? Natural dyes are not commonly used in haircare because many natural pigments are unstable or not permitted to be used in cosmetics under certain regulations. However, the two pigments we use are approved for cosmetic use, safe at the concentration that we use and are gentle on sensitive scalps.

    Finally! A decent clean purple shampoo!

    I love this product. Well done to the Bit Hippy Team for creating this! It leaves my hair clean without making it oily. It smells great unlike so many toxic purple shampoos. I highly recommend for any fellow blondes to give this and the blonde conditioner a try.

    Not for me

    I really wanted to love this product as I have been using the anti irritation shampoo and conditioner for a year and have been really happy with it. When I saw they'd brought out a blonde shampoo I was really excited for a non toxic tonining shampoo. Unfortunately using the shampoo and conditioner my hair turns out really dry immediately after washing and then one day later it's extremely greasy and stringy. Totally different to the anti irritation shampoo which was great for my hair. I did notice a slight toning of my blonde but overall I'm going to have to stop using this product which is a real shame because I hate waste.
