Made for our sensitive babes, it’s our OG Shampoo that started it all! If you find yourself a little itchy after hair wash day, it’s likely your scalp isn’t a fan of SLS, SLES and other Sulphates found in traditional shampoos. And honestly, we’re not a fan either. It’s time to strip back on the confusing tongue twister ingredients without stripping your hair of its natural oils. After all, they’re responsible for that luxe shine!

We started with a clever combo of four plant-based cleansers, to get your hair and scalp feeling so fresh and so clean, without that annoying itchy feeling. The real stars of the show however, are Cationic Guar Gum (from a legume) and Chlorella Extract (an algae source of B12), which will strengthen damaged hair over time. And strong hair is shiny hair.

For that luxe spa day experience, we added our iconic A bit Hippy de-stress essential oil blend, so your hair will smell as good as it looks!

Massage this soothing formula into your scalp and comb through to your mid-lengths and ends. Is your hair type a lil oily? Double wash to remove excess oil or if your hair could simply do with a detox.

    Not working for me

    I was so excited to try out this shampoo. I have very sensitive scalp and was looking for something natural to help. Unfortunately, this one doesn’t work for me. My hair feels heavy after the wash and my scalp gets super itchy on the 2nd day. It is not as bad if I uses it every day but I would rather not. This time of the year is particularly bad for my skin sensitivity with the constant changes in temperature, so I might keep it and try it another time if the year to see how it feels.

    A very happy hippy!

    Honestly I didn't think I'd like the shampoo and conditioner, but I'm trying to cut out as much excess toxic cr@p as I can. After reading many comments on FB about A Bit Hippy, being the best they've found after trying multiple companies I finally bit the bullet and decided to give it a go. I thought it would take a few uses before seeing any results as our bodies can take time to adjust to new products.. I've washed and conditioned my hair once.. my hair has not felt this good in quite a while! The smell might not be for everyone, but I think it smells amazing!! You can definitely smell the patchouli 💜

    So Far Very good.

    Have only used once.

    Here's my honest opinion ..

    Fantastic scalp cleanse!

    Combined with the conditioner has brought out the deep Red natural hues in my hair. Very pleased.

    Made my hair frizzy .. but after couple of day's this calmed down

    I Wash my hair very infrequently so to even be using a shampoo and conditioner again, after year's of using homemade combos of oil, egg, honey, vinegar Avocado etc, is a big change.

    Unsure how I'll like this product long-term but by far this is one of the best hair- care products around.

    Highly recommend to anyone with itchy scalp issues.
